Go Green With Environmentally Friendly

Shipping Supplies   By Don Goodwin

In the world today environmentally friendly has become more important than ever. With everyone trying to do their part to help make our environment cleaner, now you can make a large source of waste product environmentally friendly. When shipping products in cardboard boxes that use packing peanuts or bubble wrap you can cut down a large source of bad waste. There are now cardboard boxes, bubble wrap, and packing peanuts that are made from recycled material as well as bio degradable materials. Thousands of pounds of packaging peanuts are used daily. You can now get this material made from soy bean material that is completely bio degradable.

Another commonly used shipping item are pallets. Wood pallets are used frequently, however there are now plastic pallets that are made of recycled products. This not only saves trees by using less wood. It can save you more money on the bottom line by the ability to reuse the pallets longer. There are also one way shipping pallets that are made of recycled material as well. These are perfect for use when you won't be getting your pallet back. They are very inexpensive as well as environmentally friendly.

Even if you don't use green products there is one last way to try to be more environmentally friendly as well as save your company money. Try to reuse boxes, packaging materials, and pallets as much as possible. Also when these products are no longer useful, rather than throwing them in the trash to be taken to a land fill, start a recycling program so that all these items can be useful again. This also will save your company money in the end.
